The causes of this phenomenon are varied, but are often related to domestic, economic, or social disruption, including but not limited to: poverty; breakdown of homes and/or families; political unrest; acculturation; sexual, physical or emotional abuse; domestic violence; lured away by pimps, Internet predators, or begging syndicates; mental health problems; substance abuse; and sexual orientation or gender identity issues.[23] Children may end up on the streets due to cultural factors.

Beti Bachao Campaign

Beti Bachao Abhiyan is the most wide program running by ABUS. A girl child is the future of us. She is a sister, wife, daughter and a mother too. In India Traditions and rituals outline the existence of the girl child. Amidst uproars of gender equality and law enforcement, female infants are still found dumped in trash, by the dozens, while unborn fetuses continue to be sniffed in the womb.

Girl Education

If women all over the world had a secondary education, child deaths would be cut in HALF, saving 3 million lives. Not just girls’ lives, but all lives. Educate a girl to educate a family to educate a society, All children are important, they have the same rights and deserve the same opportunities, however because girls face the double discrimination of being female and young it is so important that we focus efforts specifically on addressing their disadvantages and systemic abuse.

Educate Slum Dwellers

India has 440 Million Children. Over there 12 million are child workers. Over eleven million children who earn their living off the streets in cities and rural areas. 50% of Children are not going to school or school dropouts. 60% of children cannot read a short story or do simple arithmetic even after 5th class. We educate especially those in the marginalized communities can access quality education.

Stop Child Labour

India found the total number of child labourers, aged 5–14, to be at 10.1 million on paper (actual may be over than 30 Million) and the total child population to be 259.64 million in that age group. The child labour problem is not unique to India; worldwide, about 217 million children work, many full-time.
